Christopher Court

Christopher Court was built in Sidcup in 2015 for students of the Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Arts and is only 10 minutes’ walk from the College.

It’s right opposite the station so London and the West End theatres are only 30 minutes away by train. There’s a Costa Coffee right next door and Station Road is full of cafes and take away places, most of which offer student discounts. Sidcup has everything you need: shops, a leisure centre, cinema, pubs, restaurants and lovely parks and green spaces.

Christopher Court has 28 flats, made up of 6 en-suite study bedrooms with their own shared kitchen/dining spaces. There’s high speed Wifi, a 24hr reception desk where you can always find team members to help you with anything you need and there’s secure bike storage and a laundrette on site.

There are different types of room available so have a look to see which suits you best.

If you are interested in booking you can visit the Rose Bruford website by clicking here. Alteratively you can call 020 8308 2623 or e-mail student@bruford.ac.uk

(Christopher Court is managed in line with the ANUK "Private Code" )

Meet the team

James Tallon

James Tallon- General Manager, Christopher Court

I am responsible for the management of Christopher Court and the team who help me run it.

I love the diversity of working here. Our students come from all over the world and have some great stories to tell.

When I’m not working, I’m a bit of an extreme sports fan! I love sky diving, scuba diving and running marathons and ultra-marathons.

Maryana Renava

Maryana Renava- Facilities Assistant

A typical day for me includes managing contractors, post room duties and most important of all, being on hand to help our students.

I’m energetic and out-going and I love to smile! Outside of work, my favourite things are travelling and yoga.

Louise Mitchell

Louise Mitchell- Housekeeping

My typical day revolves around keeping all the communal areas of Christopher Court cleaned and welcoming for our students and I really enjoy being part of the Sodexo team.

I like to be busy so the Christopher Court job is perfect for me. I’m not really a morning person but the team and the job always get me energised as soon as I arrive. (And I have a passion for Husky puppies!)

Kim Hewetson

Kim Hewetson - Housekeeping

Like Louise, I also help look after the communal areas of Christopher Court.

I’m very passionate about everything I do at work and in my home life.

I spend as much of my free time with my family as I can, at home or travelling together and I simply love being a grandmother!
