Budgeting Spreadsheet
Keeping an eye on your incomings and more importantly, outgoings is vital when you're a student. Yes, you will get a healthy-looking student loan, but it's important to remember this is given to you in 3 installments. For example, your first student loan instalment paid out in mid September, needs to last until mid January, yes JANUARY. So you see, you have to budget, ensuring you have enough money every week for rent, bills, food and everything else.
Check out our awesome budgeting spreadsheet to help you keep an eye on your monetary movements.
The numbers we’ve popped in below are totally made up, but are somewhat similar to a ‘student lifestyle’, so the totals shouldn’t be a million miles away from what you should expect.
